Shinkan Co., Ltd. was founded.
1992
Import and sales of Chinese Shiitake mushroom started.
1995
Great Hanshin Earthquake hit Kobe.
1997
Direct export and sales of Japanese food to Europe started.
Cash and Carry shop to sell hotel and restaurant food started.
1998
Fiscal year business plan and goal management system were introduced.
We moved to Hyogoko Distribution Center located Hyogo-ku, Kobe.
1999
We joined Japan Food Distributors Association (JFDA).
2000
Our Credo “Synthesis of ‘strong characters’ in an orderly manner brings us extraordinary growth“ has been set up.
We celebrated the 30th anniversary of our founding.
The new department called “Stockman” for food delivery sales to restaurants by trucks was started.
2001
Our basic management policies of “small management units,” “responsibility delegation,” and “niche marketing“ have been introduced.
We started sales of agricultural dried products to food whole sellers and manufacturers.
2008
Our homepage was opened.
2011
Great East Japan Earthquake occurred and “harmful rumor” about Japanese food damaged our food export business.
2014
Manager and employee stock ownership association has been established.
2015
We moved our main office to K-Act in Rokko island, Kobe.
2016
The complete five-day workweek has been introduced.
2020
The 50th anniversary of our foundation was celebrated.
We introduced the new sales management computer system.
We have started actively using Social Networking Service such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram.
2021
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system was introduced to the C&C store.
2022
To clarify the differences between board members and executive officers and their respective roles, a corporate executive officer system has been introduced.

Direct export and sales of Japanese food to South Asia began.
